Coolest… flash drives… ever.

Originally, I was going to title this “Cutest… flash drives… ever.” But, after an extensive google session wherein I perused virtual tons of “cute” flash drives, I realized that, even with hardware, “cute” can, and often does, equal “sickening.”

On the other hand, there are plenty of “cool” flash drives that I consider “bizarre,” and even “ugly.” Thus, these drives are not listed here.

So maybe the title isn’t accurate. At any rate, these are the flash drives that you can buy me for Christmas.

To be honest, I don’t think that fake wooden memory “sticks” qualify as “cute.” Funny, weird, maybe even stupid.

CDs? No, I wanted a flash drive!

I think these CD-shaped USB drives fall into that same funny-weird-stupid category. I mean, we’ve spent the last few years trying to get away from the CD-ROM format, why pretend to go backwards? But they are cool to look at.

This one verges on dorky, but I’m strangely drawn to its perfect mimicry of realism.

Blow it up.

The USB drive below could really come in handy. I almost put it in the “cool” category, but it has just that little twinge of dorkism that slaps it right into the funny-weird-stupid category.
